WHAT ARE YOU SOWING?

You might not be a full-time farmer or even a part-time gardener, but everyone understands the natural law of sowing and reaping. Stated simply, whatever kind of seed you sow is what you will get or reap or harvest. To put it another way, whatever you are getting is the result of what you sowed.

Plant tomato seeds, and a tomato plant will sprout. With proper cultivation and time, a delicious tomato will be the expected harvest. No one sows grass seed in their yard and expects a pumpkin patch to emerge as a result.

The Bible says it this way: “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” (Galatians 6:7-8)

Join us any Sunday at 10 A.M. at the Crossville church of Christ to discover what it means to “sow to the Spirit.” at the Crossville church of Christ as we explore what it means to “sow to the Spirit.” Sowing in this way will result in eternal life, which is something everyone should desire. Our life here on earth is short, even if we live for 70, 80, or 100 years compared to the unending eternity awaiting us after death. Isn’t it worth taking the time now to determine if you are living in a way to enjoy eternal life after your time on earth is done?
